Adam Heding
Operations Manager

Adam has worked in the title industry since 2002. After college, Adam’s first job was in the title searching department at a small family owned company in Wautoma. Over the years, Adam trained in nearly all of the roles a title company can offer, including searching, examining, closing, construction escrows and marketing. After being promoted to manager of the small operation, the company Adam worked for joined the Schmitt Title team. Adam’s role continued to grow within the new company and he currently oversees four Schmitt Title locations. His wide range of experience and expertise are an asset to Schmitt’s customer base. Outside of work, Adam enjoys the outdoors with his son Will. Fishing, skiing and kayaking are some of their favorite activities.

Michelle Nelson
Fond du Lac Branch Manager

Michelle is manager of the Fond du Lac Schmitt Title office. She has been in the title industry since 1994. In 2011, Michelle joined the Preferred Title family to open a new office in a new market. She was able to put her sales and marketing efforts to work. In three short years, Schmitt Title grew to one of the leading title companies in Fond du Lac County. The key to Michelle’s success is communication. With knowledge and communication her staff guides customers through the real estate process, making every transaction rewarding. Michelle’s goal is to give her customers a quality product with the best service possible. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends at her home away from home in Wisconsin’s Northwoods.

Nick Skoglind
Oshkosh Branch Manager

Nick joined the title industry in 2005. His first job was title searching for a company his mother owned in Appleton. Since then, he has gained experience in many aspects of the title world. In 2018 Nick joined Schmitt Title LLC as the Oshkosh Branch manager where he remains today. He enjoys seeing the customers come in daily with their excitement of purchasing a new home. Away from work, Nick enjoys time with his wife Nicole, and two kids, Brooke and Wes. He also enjoys football, basketball, and spending time outdoors with his family.
